Yes, point taken. Maybe put 4, 40k in parallel to make sure. Even if 2go open circuit there


is still only 4v across remainimg 2.

This is why you use one of those $9 LCD voltmeters from harbor freight- if it explodes, it is cheaper than a HV fuse.
