Original poster: "Barton B. Anderson" <bartb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>I've built a few various spinners. Bearings suck! Too much friction (all types). The best I used was a homemade needle. I had to get everything balanced well to spin well. I've tried low friction nylon bearings and small standard steel bearings, but a needle riding in an indent worked better than anything else. Balance of course is just as important.
