if your at 500ma and 15kV your at 7.5 kW. That means the draw from the primary side would be at least 63 amps at 120 v.

I am perferably looking for plans to build a
transformer with an imput of 120v 5-20Amp and an
output of around 15kv and at least 500mA. Sorry for
