You need a lot more protection on the primary side with a big coil.
On the low voltage power supply side, in addition to RF filters and
varisters, you also need approx 60 turns of wire on a 3 inch ID PVC tube
filled with 1/8 inch steel rods. This will clip off a lot of the LF hash
that will get past a standard RF filter. Be sure to use the varisters as
well.
