Re: RF Grounding

Hi Stan,
I have had great success with a 15kv 120ma nst using the following setup for
grounding:
Connect the bottom of the secondary, the nst case, the strike rail, and the
nst safety gap to a dedicated ground rod. You can connect all of these
together where convenient and just run one wire to the ground rod.
The house ground I DO NOT use. I just run a hot and neutral from the house
to the NST.
Good luck,
Trent

| With regard to grounding, I plan to connect all of the ground leads
together
| and then connect them to a separate earth ground. Would you use a
three-prong
| plug for the 120 VAC side of the NST or connect the NST to the separate
ground
| of the TC? I assume one would do that to help minimize RF back into your
house
| wiring? I am also using Terry's NST protection circuit.
|
| Thanks,
