[TCML] tesla coil did not work

primary coil: 8 turn, smallest radius 11cm, largest radius is 19cm.
secondary coil: ~1250 turn, radius 6cm.
primary capacitance : 0.16 uF
HV transformator : 5kv 250mA

our circuit design:

when we operated the circuit only spark gap worked properly. secondary coil
did not work since we did not observe any arcs at toroid.

We suspect that this failure was because of unmatched frequencies. We have
hypotetically calculated our resonant frequency as 450 kHz, however when we
applied a sinusoidal wave to the primary coil, we have seen a similar
sinusoidal only at 170 kHz. What do you suggest us to match those
frequencies and what else might be the reasons for the setback. Thanks.
