Is it possible to see a working coil with this system of yours?

Driving big brick like the CM1200 is not an easy task! I've been working with Finn Hammer on his huge drsstc named thumper for some years now. And I can tell you that driving a bridge of CM600 and getting 13 feet of sparks is not easy.

We recently completed testing on our our DRSSTC driver board design.  I will
have stuffed boards available in early Feb.

The unit can be adjusted to work with Powerex CM300 (4-5 ft spark), CM600
(6-8 ft spark, and even CM1200 wih spark lengths up to 16 feet.

It has proven very robust and reliable as we use a fiber optic connection
from modulator to main board.

Precise adjustment of zero cross points can be set for each IGBT module thus
allowing near perfect efficiency!
