Re: [TCML] DdRSSTC driver board with parts

Thanks,
I am definately interested in going down this path.
I am an electrical engineer with plenty of SGTC experience, but my experience with electronics is limited. How difficult would it be for me to get a system running if I purchased a board from you? I would most likely want to go with the CM1200's and run it to get 10-12 foot arcs.
Do you have a design I could look at to see what would be involved?
Any idea of costs?

Thanks,
Carlos.

Subject: [TCML] DdRSSTC driver board with parts

We recently completed testing on our our DRSSTC driver board design. I will
have stuffed boards available in early Feb.

The unit can be adjusted to work with Powerex CM300 (4-5 ft spark), CM600
(6-8 ft spark, and even CM1200 wih spark lengths up to 16 feet.

It has proven very robust and reliable as we use a fiber optic connection
from modulator to main board.

Precise adjustment of zero cross points can be set for each IGBT module thus
allowing near perfect efficiency!
