Greetings,

These two topics certainly inspire outrage and it's important for us to
learn from the disasters and mistakes of others.  At the same time, let's
keep in mind that this is a tesla coil list and not a political list.

There are other activities that appeal to the same audience as tesla coils
(fireworks for one) that are often sensationalized and perhaps demonized
by the uneducated.  It's good to know what can happen and that we should
be careful but just ranting amongst ourselves tends towards off-topic.
