Hi John,As long as you didn't break any wires or cause them to overlap, you should be able to easily repair the damage. Carefully brush the winding with a clean paintbrush in the same direction as the winding to remove any copper particles that may be lodged between adjacent wires. Then carefully coat the damaged region with some corona dope or a couple of coatings of clear polyurethane varnish. Your winding should be as good as new!
