	Answer is that it's more "Tesla like" in the sense that it uses resonant circuits at both the transmitting and receiving ends.  The guys involved seem to think they were the first ones to discover that inductive coupling between circuits is increased if both are resonant at the same frequency.  Tesla, some before him and many afterwards would disagree of course.
