They have pure tungsten, thoriated, and some newer types for thosewho worry about the alpha particles emanating from thorium, with twodifferent lanthanide element...If I remember correctly, Lanthanumand Cerium. both are supposed to be about as good as thorium forwelding...don't know how they'd do for TC's.

Thoriated rods are better because of their increased electrical
properties.
