Hi Bart,

Did you calculate the resonant C for his NST.  9000V@120ma ??

Unless I made a mistake, I believe it is 35 nf. He is planning on a35 nf cap using a SRSG (he said 4 pole rotor but didn't say whetherhe is running at 1800 or 3600 rpm.

The NST will be fine
charging the cap. You could do 120 bps
efficiently and even 240 bps well.
