Hi Jim,

Here's my first hit:

Surely they can make them in two parts. Not cheap I would expect. I was just
curious.

Subject: 6" aluminum spheres

I'm looking for a source for aluminum spheres roughly 6"-8" in
diameter that come in two halves (I want to put circuitry inside
them), perhaps with one half having a rim that fits inside the other one?

The hamster ball covered in foil is another idea, but surely, you can
get spun spheres like this?
