Hi Nick,

    Sounds rather flimsy. A few simple tests with readily available 
75-cent tubes would obviate the need for a large number of 
postulations. i.e. some interested party could try it Then, IF 
existing ceramic tubes don't work there would be a justification for 
fabricating new devices..
