Hi William,
The Mandelbrot fractal set has got to be the most beautiful fractal
set I have ever seen. Do you know of any SW available that recreates
this set. I saw a Mandelbrot display at a Siggraph conference once
using a special designed computer network to get the BW to calculate
the Mandelbrots "real time" like for zooming. The compute power
these days may be high enough to do these fractals real time.

Hi Gerry,
You might want to try and find a copy of the CD ROM "Fractal
Ecstasy" by Deep River Publishing, P.O.Box 9715-975, Portland, Maine
04104 (207) 871-1684. UPC: 56057-10103
It has fly-throughs, Windows movies, creator, animator, and image exporter etc.
For the serious DIYer, the book "Fractal Programming in C" by Roger
T. Stevens, 1989, M&T Books, 501 Galveston Dr. Redwood City, CA
94063-4728 ISBN 1-55851-038-9 is great.
Hope this helps,
Matt D.
