Hello All,
Wanted Xray head Transformer to make a 50kv cap charger. Jim, is your
Transformer designed for that frequency or can you drive a typical head that
high? Sure cuts the size of capacitors for a doubler! I too am interested in
your SCR drawing.

Do you have a diagram for the scr driver? I believe I have most of the
parts all the way back to the pulse transformer board.

I have a GE xray system that runs at 500kHz (a pair of SCRs in a
multivibrator configuration) running off a couple hundred volts of
NiCd. Saves mucho mass on the transformer.
