Trevor,
     I think you need to drink some more beer.  I crunched the numbers
kinda quick...I don't know quite enough about your coil, but 22 g wire
seemed to be about right for the number of turns for your secondary....and
I just made an assumption about your topload being a 4" by 12"  toroid...  
but for 14 turns on the primary for that, my spreadsheet(that has always
done me very well)  says you need about twice the capacitance that you are
using to be in tune.  Wanna talk to me offlist....my email is
