Has anyone considered the fact that the earth is not
homogeneous but actually contains over 4X 10^9 cubic miles of
superheated Ni/Fe core that just might influence waves
circumnavigating the globe?
Its down indide, away from the surface effects.
More or less 'invisible' to things on the surface....
(yes:
The secondary effects produce the Earth's magnetic field/environment....
In general electric effects tend to stay on the surface of
things, especially conductors....)
