Hi Terry,
Just to sum things up then, this is what you are telling me.
The energy dissipated in the die during switching is the most
significant issue to worry about in my application and probably pushing
the little dies over the edge. If so then switching as close to zero
current as possible is the way to stop this mode of failure.
