Re: Pole Pigs from power company?

"Godfrey,
T&R is not inconsistent. It's just when you have been doing business
with them for a number of years, and they have pictures of your effects
on their wall, they know what you do with stuff purchased from them.
Then along comes a hobbyist making threats, their management responds
saying no Tesla Coil sales period, then we take the hit (again). That's
why Jeff P. hasn't/won't give out any more of our supplier's names to
the list. It's too bad because 99.9% of you are responsible and
reasonable but that fraction of a percent has lost us more than a few
suppliers.
Isn't this weird that I'm supporting a supplier who won't sell to us?

Not weird at all! This same sort of thing happens in all hobbies where
some guys get the big head and start trying to bluff people. A little
humility never hurt anyone. For the profit of selling a single
transformer or two, definitely not worth the hassle to do business with
someone like that. As for guarding ones suppliers ("sources" in the
intelligence world), protecting them is all important, whether they are
selling transformers, drugs at a discount, or secret plans!
