Well after a bit of tuning,  and some replaced wires (they exploded from
overcurrent!!!)  I'm getting about 15" and with a coarse tune (single turns
only) and a 14ga primary.  The power draw is insane,  it makes the wires
melt,  I was using some steel wire (stupid stupid stupid!) which of course
got induction heated by the EM feild and burst into flames ( it was quite a
sight! )  Currently I have to replace the steel primary tap (it was getting
so hot it burned me) and then I'll take some photos for you all, and maybe a
video.
