Re: NST and GFI protection

all ready tried it the TC fires for about 5 seconds and then turns off,I am
assuming this is the GFI circuit
doing what it supposed to,
there is a small reset switch on the outside , the  NST is potted with some
beige colored waxlike material
but the  the inside of the reset switch sits above the potting material ,
what do you think of shorting that switch ?
