Hi Phil,

I think you dropped a digit. Looks like .0003uF, not
.003uF. That's only 0.3nF. Hope you have a lot of
them.

Many coilers have used ceramic doorknob caps in Tesla
coils with good results. If they are not suitable for
TC use, this will be revealed pretty shortly after
first light by cap failure. Found that out the hard
way with some Russian doorknob caps that really were
too good of a deal to be true.
