having motorized items near the sparkgap just might increase the RF into
the wiring a tad bit more but if your coil is spitting out 4'+ streamers
anyway.... the RF is getting into the wiring anyway.
When I run my BIGPIG coil, the voltage sensor ( penlite sized item that
senses voltage behind walls and near wall sockets ) I have goes
bananas. My alarmed wife came outside frantically yelling something
about yellow flashes eminating from my desk in the office. Come to
find out it was the voltage sensor ( about 35' away from the T coil at
that) which was the culprit.....
Even with a seperate RF ground and a strike rail, I still managed to
screw up the electronics in the oven ( wife not happy about that) but
than again the BIGPIG does 10-12' streamers easily...
