Adam, Jeff,
	As part of the risk assessment for a recent job, I did test some
3M masks for ozone filtering ability. Not the exact model that
Jeff mentions, but a similar one also rated 10 x Occupation
exposure limit. By deliberately doing everything you shouldn't
with a coil, we were able to generate an ozone concentration of
2ppm which is a very hazardous level. HSE recommendations for
maximum exposure are 100ppb for 8 hours, At the 2ppm level the
mask was able to reduce that to less than 50ppb for over 2 hours.
Please don't regard these results as definite proof the masks
will protect you, but it's a good sign that they'll help a lot.
