Hello I am wanting to show off my coil. At a glass blowing studio I
have recently been doing a lot of work at.

We have a lot of space over 15000 square feet and most of it is
unoccupied, but I have always run my coil outdoors and
there is a nice court yard that I would be very possible to set my
coil up in.

My only major concern would be the ground system.
I would be a couple hundred feet away from the gas furnace and glory holes,
also several walls between me and them. I would also
have plenty of clearance in terms of room to observe from for the audience.

In the courtyard there are sevearl steel drain pipes for draining the roof
down into the sewer system, and really no were to burry a ground rod, so
would a steel pipe running into the sewer system, be considered
and adequate or safe ground? The one pipe I am thinking about useing is
broken off about 3 or 4 inches from the ground, and would be super easy to
clip into. Would there be a concern with people touching other steel
drainage pipes in the area?

It looks like a good ground but I am not real sure what it
attachs to underground.

Chris
