I USE PURE TUNGSTEN BRIDGE WIRE IN EXPLOSIVE EQUIPMENT AND IT WILL EXPLODE
IF HEATED SUDDENLY AND HOT ENOUGH. I KNOW THAT LOW HEAT SPARK GAPS HAVE NO
PROBLEN AND NEVER WILL AT THE SLOW LOW POWER THEY ARE USED AT A FEW THOUSAND
DEGREES. ED; YOU ARE CORRECT AT YOUR LOW TEMPRATURE USE. BUT TUNGSTEN WILL
BURN EXPLOSIVLY IN AIR IF HEATED SUDDENLY. I USE 99.999% PURE TUNGSTEN WIRE
NOT CARBIDE OR CHEEP JUNK FROM THE WELDING SHOP.
