Pure luck with a digital camera... One good picture among many bad.

The same occurs with balls of significantly different sizes, or with
the symmetrical double balls seen in some static machines. In this
case, sparks occur easily if the positive terminal is inclinated in
the direction of the negative terminal. The opposite configuration
results in just corona.
