Hi Greg,
Nice, simple design. I wound my 2" secondary by hand, and it took forever!
Not to mention the sore hands... It came out almost perfect, but would have
been much, much easier and taken a mere fraction of the time with a jig like
this. It would even be easy to add a turn counter to it. I can't imagine
trying to wind a 12" without one! The ice cream motor seems perfect for
this application. I've seen new ones at Wal-Mart for $15 in the summer.
