Hi Joe.

Some brands of sheet protectors are marked "polypropylene".......and I think
we all agree, polypropylene is the GOD of all dialectric types for HV pulse
use.

But -- I messed around with sheet protectors once, and the plastic (the label
said polypopylene) seemed to be quite lossy compared to other kinds of Tesla
cap's (MMC's, flat stacked, etc.) that use REAL PP and PE.

Perhaps it was my setup at the time, I was running extremely low power (20
watts or so) from a flyback transformer into a spark gap and "sheet protector
cap". The seemed to heat quickly, but like I said, perhaps it was my setup.

Keep experimenting.......cool........

Have a good one,
