    I have always bought my magnet wire from a source I got from Mike Hammer
and the Tesla2 list ages ago.  There is a cottage business in Illinois run
by Joe Casatta, and he has good prices but only ships C.O.D.  His adress is:

By the way, he loves Tesla Coilers.  Just call and ask for Joe, and he'll
take your order.  I just used the Coax Connection about three weeks ago.  He
charges ~$7.20/lb 24awg. and ~$6.05/lb 22awg.  Hope this helps.
