Re: 12" Secondary?

I use a 12" concrete form for my secondary with 24 gauge insulated wire
about 24" long (18" wound). I use 2 12/30's in parallel and get descent
results but I am still experimenting as I only get 20" sparks and have a dry
plate glass cap. the wire is plastic insulated so I have a lot of
capacitance built in to the secondary. this may be the reason for my lack of
really great results, hope this helps and I look foreward to other's
comments as well.
