I use .025 copper strap 1" wide (straps cut from copper sheet at the
local sheet metal shop). then I solder .060 brass tabs (that have the
appropriate hole drilled in them for attaching strap to the device) onto
the ends of the strap. To connect to the 1/4" copper primary tubing, I
solder 2, 1/4" fuse clips (metal parts of clips that were removed from
the plastic carrier as sold by RadioShack) end to end onto the very end
edge of the copper strap. Then with the .060 tabs on the other ends of
these straps I can bolt them onto the capacitor and/or gap.

    Hey all,  I was just curious as to the type of wire each of yah uses
for
connections between the spark gap, transformer, and cap tank.
