I would suggest "envirotex lite" pour on finish. It takes one coat and dries
(cures) in 12-18 hours depending on humidity. One coat is around 1/8"
thick!!! You can get it in 8oz kits which can cover around 4-6 square feet
for around $6(US). I would reccomend using two light coats as opposed to one
thick one because it willl be smoother and look much nicer. And remember to
sand with 220 sandpaper in between coats. If you can't afford two coats,
sand the form smooth after the first application and cover the form with
varnish and  it will look just as nice.
This stuff is nearly impenetrable, but don't over abuse it.
