3k turn question

there is one thing that keeps sticking in my mind that i would like to
ask about. i chose 3000 turns on my secondary because this gives me
6680' of wire, this is 100.5' over the 1/4 wavelength. i was curious
whether this could cause some kind of stresses to build up in the top
turns of the coil? i was going to keep the wire length below the 1/4
wave, but that wouldn't prove anything. so, does anyone have any
thoughts on this or am i being foolish?
