Ronn,

I have an NEC 5 volt/ 1.0 farad capacitor sitting on the desk beside me.
It is 1.5" in diameter and 1/2" thick. They are used for temporary
backup power on digital circuit boards. They're cheap and readily
available and totaly useless for Tesla col use.
