RE: Where can I get toriods besides ...

You know, this is a bit confusing. I could have sworn I read some emails
that said sciencefirst sold an inferior toriod and not to buy from them. Now
all I get is praise of them.

I don't like being made out to be the heavy here, for reading a message or
two critical of science first and then when I swallow it all I hear is
praise and that I am wrong. if they make good toriods, than maybe I'll just
buy one from them but I would have preferred not getting mixed signals.

Science First is a first-rate outfit (no pun intended). The "lady
who
runs it" is, I seem to remember, the daughter of Frank Lee who used to
have HV articles in the Amateur Scientist department of Scientific
American. I had some correspondence with her a few years back and she
told me that Lee is still alive and active; just can't remember her
exact relationship. Anyhow, they sell good stuff at a reasonable price,
even though their metal spinnings aren't polished.
