I have successfully used dichloromethane to remove epoxy type encapsulation.
It did not seem to destroy the wire insulation on a nst, although that is a
naked eye assessment.

Hi all,any one know of a solvant that will dissolve hard epoxy?I have a high
voltage inverter transformer that has been epoxied together and it wont come
apart. Its a ferrite core so it will crumble if brute force is used.Thanx
