Hi Matt,
Acetone will dissolve epoxy, it is slow, and very flammable. Also not good
to breath the fumes.
Methylene chloride will make quick work of it. It is also not flammable.
However it will dissolve just about anything else it comes in contact with
of an organic nature like wire insulation, most plastics, and especially
skin. Also not good to breath.
Heat works well for destroying epoxy. It gets crumbly and can be brushed
away. It takes about 350 to 360 degrees Fahrenheit to do it.
