Re: Question
Jeffery,
The above is the proceedings of a conference on Pulse Power that's held
every two years, sponsored by the IEEE. These conferences contain a
wealth of information on high voltage techniques, thyratrons, spark
gaps, gaseous breakdown, transmission lines, Pulse Forming techniques,
and various other high energy pulsed power techniques and applications.
While not strictly Tesla Coil related, the articles in these Proceedings
make for extremely interesting reading!! Unfortunately, many are out of
print, including Volume 4.
A website that contains a searchable index of articles from Pulse Power
Conferences from 1 thru 11 follows. Also, some volumes are still
available for sale at this site, but unfortunately, not volume 4.
Volumes that are available include 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10 for $90 -
$110/volume. Check out:
http://ppc97-www.nrl.navy.mil/ppctoc/ppctoc.html
The latest Conference Proceedings (Volume 12, held in 1999) will need to
be ordered through the IEEE or through various in-print book dealers.
You may be also able to obtain a copy of these volumes for loan via an
engineering library at a university or through your local library's
inter-library lending program.
Happy Hunting!
