breakdown voltages are very erratic)  based on standard sewing needles as
electrodes BTW

5 kV = .42 cm, 10 kV = 0.85vm, 15 kV = 1.30 cm, 20 kV = 1.75 cm, 25 kV =
2.20 cm, 30 kV=2.69 cm

Personally, I think the last digit is spurious, but, there it is.  So, for
your 2 cm gap, around 20-25 kV..
