Hi All,
    Just got two COPPER toroids from John Freau.  Very nice.  Well
done and smooth.  Very massive.  Nice polish! I could hit these with
100kA discharges from the big Marx all day long without a dent!
Imagine, a toroid you can actually solder to!!  I'm glad I got mine.
After seeing how hard these copper toroids are to make on a lathe, no
way the price can't stay this low for long.

    Tape #22 was very interesting.  28" sparks from a 3" by 9"
secondary with a flat spiral primary! A new record?

    I have always wondered how toroids were made.  John Freau shows
how it is done.  Every step is detailed.  I picked up a lot of new
techniques.
