Hello Mark
	I am running on 240 volts, so for 9kva that's 37.5 amps.
OK, how does 8 awg sound for 37.5 amps?  I think it would work real well.
If you look at the resistance of 12 awg and compare it to 8 awg its only 
2.5 times greater.  This means I will have 2.5 times more heat.  Since
my transformer is in oil and I am only running it for at most 10 minute 
intervals.  I Don't see why 12 awg wouldn't be sufficent.
