Dear Sir,
I am not entirely interested in joining your list as I am not a
technical hobbyist. I do however, have a number of large industrial
capacitors for sale that your members may find useful. I would therefor
appreciate if you could ad this message to your group, as they might
find these puppies useful. I have two basic types for sale.
The first ones are either Aerovox "Aerostar" models or Sangamo. The
specs are 1.86 MFD (micro farrads?) 60 kilovolts, 3,348 joules. They
measure 14" X 11" X 25". They weigh about three hundred pounds. They are
older technology capacitors but still work like a charm.
The second ones are General Electric, and they are 10,000 volts, 170
mF, max amperage of 10,000. They measure 13.5" X 6" X 25.5". They weigh
over one hundred pounds. These are newer and in nicer shape.
The prices are $250 and $150, respectively, plus freight, which is
sure to be in the stratosphere, as these things are impossible to lift.
Please contact the seller at: umlaw95-at-safari-dot-net, or call (305)
595-2648, or (305) 431-4197.
Thank you,
T.D. Golik
