   I think I tend to agree with you about triggered spark gaps, or at least
the types mentioned.  However I found the whole string to be very interesting
on accounts, that most other posts fall into a few catagories, how to tweak a
few more amps out of your transformer, or a few more microferads out of your
caps.  I really enjoyed the fresh idea of a lazer triggered gap, because it
was a new idea to play with.  Somthing more fundamental.
