    Use mercury vapor, it's has a high UV output in a flash lamp.  Not the
phosphor coated glass, and generate a vacumm with that and helium, which is
more of a visable green.  If you mix that you can see if it is focused or
not.  If you building a laser to go with it.  If you want to know more, I
will have to dig out my encyclopedia of physics, but I can only give you
that in nanometer wavelengths.  It just that with numbers like those I see
the color, but I compare it to a LED to give you a rough Idea.
