I made a smal RQ style gap using half inch pipe spaced at .020, and the arcs
do not concentrate at the edges - my theory is that the arc may start at an
edge, but there is enough current that the edge alone can't handle it, so
you get multiple arcs along the length of each pipe segment - one arc repels
the next, so they space out a bit.
