Bert,

As stated previously, I am still playing with the home-made cap, which is
very lossy.  You can hear the corona at 1/3 power from 3-4 meters :-(

However, I did promise I'd send you a photo, so if you are interested ....

The coil fires OK without the "thumb-tack", but the concentration of
discharges makes for a slightly better photo ;-)

Now if I could just get that damn capacitor !!!!!
