Ed,
	That worked for me 30 years ago with 1 gallon wine jugs. Also
try scoring the glass with a "glass cutter" and touching the score
mark with a hot iron.

	If these methods fail, say ah *&^%, have another bottle of
wine and try again;) it takes a few tries to get it right.
